Following dinner I took Cal, Tim and Jeppe to one of the most famous street crossings in the world (makes a change to the theme parks I guess).
The Shibuya crossing is the one that has the diagonal crossings and its basically a power-to-the-people free-for-all as all 4 lanes of traffic stop to let the people cross however they want.
Because it attracts the crowds its a popular location for busking too.
That's the Starbucks made famous by Bill Murray and Scarlet Johansen in Lost in Translation. There's quite a crowd ready to make the crossing. Bear in mind this photo was taken close to 11pm.
Photo Ops in the centre of the crossing.
Everyone was happy here, not a cross person in sight. (weak pun, I apologise)
Close to the crossing and Shibuya station is the Hachiko statue. Not too easy to photograph on this occasion as there was some construction going around around it and the crowds were more congested than usual as a result. But we waited our turn and Tim decided to throw up his gang signs as a sign of respect to the dog.
Having had our fill of crossing the road a few times it was time to head back to the hotel.
